WELL I MADE IT & AM HOME

Hi guys, I got home last night. Had to stay in hospital 3 nights because I got nauseaus the last day from the Cherry Flavored Prevacid Solutab. They put me on Nexium to break open in Crystal Light instead. I am not going to say it was easy because the first two days were PURE HELL. My doc said that he normally only has to put one suture in the muscle of the big hole and he had to put two in mine and I feel like I have been beat up all in my rib cage. But each day it is getting better, I have my first post op appt. on the 19th and can go on full liquids then. Hope everyone is doing well with their surgeries that have happened while I was gone. Congratulations! I am glad that you are done and safely home! Sounds like you had a very good surgery. Take it easy now and let some of your family wait on you!! I'll be praying for your safe recovery. I am going in for surgery on July 19th, the day of your first pre-op. Take care, El

Good for you Sue! I had my surg on 7/5 and came home on thurs. had to go back in again because of a fever. doc was afraid i developed a leak, but thank goodness it wasn't that. i developed a slight pneumonia. i'm home again today and feeling still sore, but otherwise okay. long road again. Karen

I'm allowed all themfree water, crystal light Im want but decafn team and coffee and 60mills of insure 3 x a day, thats it and I'mstillm a little hungrt I'm glad your home and doing well keep us posted I want to stop before it sstops for me :
