ITCH ITCH ITCH

Ok so is any one else having problems with their staples and the tape around the staples itching. I can't itch it full on because of th pain and the fear that I will accidently pull of tape or staple. Just wanted to know - maybe I am allergic to this tape they used. But it is making me so angry I could spit. Jenn

Sounds pretty normal to me... I know it drives pts crazy. If the itch is just at the site and not red or hot or swollen, I wouldn't worry too much. If it gets too bad call your doc and see if you can remove the tape... ONLY after you talk to the doc! Take care and good luck on your journey!

Do you have the steri strips on? I know my last 2 surgeries I had they used those and they itched like crazy, if that's what it is, it won't be too long before they fall off or they take them off and then it should feel alot better.
