HI NANCY I JUST HAD MY SURGERY AND I CAME HOME THURSDAY AFTERNOON. IT WENT WELL BUT THE SURGERY TOOK LONGER THEN EXPECTED BECAUSE OF MY GALLBLADER. I WAS IN SURGERY FOR ABOUT 5 HOURS. I FEEL PRETTY GOOD EXCEPT FOR THE PAIN ON MY RIGHT SIDE AND I CAN'T SEEM TO GET COMFORTABLE AT NIGHT SO I SLEEP WITH A BUNCH OF PILLOWS BEHIND MY BACK. AS FAR AS FOODS GO I HAVE BEEN DOING ALOT OF DRINKING I ALWAYS FEEL THIRSTY, OTHER THEN THAT I AM DOING WELL. I WISH YOU LOTS OF LUCK AND KEEP US POSTED TALK TO YOU SOON. NICOLE

Hi Nancy - I had my surgery on Wednesday. My pointers are gross and I am sorry but considering we all have to wipe. Got get one of those disposable toilet brushes. The one where you can either throw away the brush or flu**** Take some wet wipes and it works charms on wiping your butt. I am sorry I am one of those people that do not like having people wipe for me. Also I put in use a back scratch - good for rabbing stuff and scratching. It is also good to push down your underwear with when you go potty. Another pointer - dont hold the gas back let it out. Another lots of pillows. I have like six under me and one on my stomach. The one on my stomach - when I have to cough or sneeze (and boy does that hurt) I put a little pressure on it with my arms and it does not hurt as much. Other then that I can not think of anything else. Take care and my prayers are with you!!!

Hi All, I had my Lap Band on Wednesday and went home the next afternoon. I am feeling great and doing well so far. Tips from me are the usual, walk, sip and in that order, repeat often. I am a little sore at the incision sites, but not enough for pain meds. I have been sticking to the clear liquids with jello, broth, crystal light and water. Not really hungry so far, thank goodness. I am trying to keep my profile updated with the details. Brenda

Hi Nancy, How are you honey? As for me I'm starting to feel like a $1,000,000. I even stsrting doing housework last night and will finish today. I don't lift anything over 1olbs, my children are helping me and my wonderful huusband too. When I came hoome the house looked really good too. I'mm proud of them. Now as far as doing anything after your surgery take it easy, your body will tell you what you can and cannot do. Just listen to it ok? Trry to keep moving if possible, my doc told me that too and it's working.. Onw more thing make sure you CRUSH all your meds, I forgot to crush one of my nightime ones and thank God I'm ok. Thank GOD. If you need me to answer any quetions please feel free to ask, no bother at all OK? Hugs, Cheri
