Good morning all- TGIF!!It's a rainy morning here in northeast PA, but its Friday, so thats OK. Good luck to all having surgery today, and all the new post-ops. My big day isonly one week away. I'm feeling so wierd about it now, like am i making a big mistake, am I gonna be able to do this??It's driving me crazy, I can't even seem to follow the 2 week liquid diet correctly. Am i gonna fail at this too?? Please let me know if these feelings are normal. Hope you all have a great weekend. My surgery is the day before yours and I am feeling a lot like you. I know this is the right decision but the questions keep coming up. I went to my husband's office yesterday (he's an attorney) and had the will, power of attorney and living will updated. That is a sobering thought. I do believe we will beable to "do this" because we will have a tool that will help. Each time before, for me anyway, I would be successful for a time and them something would cause me to break the diet. The pouch will help keep us in line. My prayers are with you and I know the Lord will protect us! God Bless.

I now how you feel!!!!! My surgery is the 14th and all of the same thoughts are going through my head. The nerves are starting to set in and I am having crying spells this morning for no reason. But, I am going to pray alot today and get myself together. Good Luck on your surgery, you are in my prayers.

Good Morning Everyone It is such a wonderful day to be alive. Knowing that we have tried everything else to lose this weightt and failed, the Lord gave us these wonderful surgeons with the tool to help us succeed. Just know that this is Gods favor for us, he wants us to enjoy life now. He wants us to be happy and healthy now. He wants us to Enlarge our Vision and see good things ahead. You can do this!!!! I posted on the MMB and the TMB (Texas) but wanted all here to know that Psalm 18 is awesome. It talks about God being our strength and will fight our 'enemies'. Check out Psalm 18 , if you are so inclined, and see what I mean. It will become my daily prayer. God Bless us all!!

Pam {{{{{{{{{{Pam}}}}}}}}}}} Take a deep breath-or two or three-actually , as they gave me the spirometer at preop to practice taking deep breaths, I will join you, as we have surgery the same day. Sounds like you are pretty normal to me-or we are both a little off. I have never questioned whether I am making a mistake. I am totally convinced this is the right thing for me. Have prayed about it for a long long time. But as far as, will I be able to make the changes, I do have those thoughts, but if I didn't hosestly feel I couldn't, I wouldn't be going through this. Do have a lot of butterflies flapping around in my stomach (soon to be smaller). Told my son and daughter in law last night and it went much better than I thought it would, but I did preface the announcement with "whether you agree or not, all I want is you to respect my decision" so there wasn't much they could say. Hey Pam I'm chasing you all over OH today LOL. I got my cardiac clearance finally....so I'm a go for Monday morning!!! Whooohooooo....I'm so very glad that it's on. Now I just have to make it through the weekend in one piece! Have a great day yourself cookie Sharon

Pam- Hey! I am burning up here in FL. I keep thinking that I will feel much colder when this weight comes off. I am, sadly, hoping that hurricane comes close enough to cool us off here! I am going back and forth between getting hyper excited and freaked out. And I still have over 2 weeks-- So I understand that you are nervous! Hugs back, Linda
