I still have 4 more days and I fell the same way as you do. I could not sleep last night at all. I think I slept 2 hours at most. I sure there are a lot of people on this board felling the same way. I just try and keep my self busy. But it isn't working to good. Good luck tomorrow!!! Melissa

Hang in there... try to really pamper yourself today... a bath, a pedicure, something to give to yourself.. See you on the 'other side' in a week!

Kristi- I wish I knew something to say to calm you. Find something to do that occupies your mind is the only advice I can offer. Go somewhere or find a friend to hang out with and make surgery "off limits" as a topic. Also, I really liked what that Greg guy (a post op) said....picture yourself and your life a year from now after having the surgery. Now picture yourself a year from now without the surgery. I don't know about you....but that makes me want to run into the surgery room! You know you are doing the right thing! Hang in there!!!! Linda

Kristi, Just want to send you some "happy thoughts" and encouragement for your big day. Nerves are normal! Remember, you are not alone! We are here for you. Just hang in there and do whatever you need to take care of you today. (I, too, am a big believer in distraction and self pampering!) Good luck and happy healing! Tara

Nerves are normal, don't freak out! Just go in smiling and you'll come out smiling. Welcome to the losing side!! You'll do just great. JC
