Surgery July 19th Anyone Else?????

I am on for the 19th anyone else.

i'm on the 19th as well. nervous as hell. waiting for something to pop up that i will have to delay my surgery. doesn't seem real that it is only two weeks away does it? good luck girl, this time next year we'll look back and say wow, that really did happen!!

Hi Kathryn--I am, too. Don't be nervous,girl be exhilerated! This website is just full of people who have worked and waited to be right where we are! Stick to your pre-op eating plan and I will pray that your co-workers are supportive of your plan. Blessings!

I'm on the 19th as well and have my pre-op physical with my primary physician this Friday. Hope nothing comes up that will delay the surgery. I will be out of town all of next week, so am doing my pre-op physical a bit early, but my surgeon thought that was just fine. Thinking about this time next year is a bit scary and exciting! Pam M

HEY GILFRIEND we can do anything! Just have faith in your dr. Remember, you get to sleep through the whole thing. Keep my email so we can e-mail as we walk through this journey togeather. By the way, they moved my surgery up to the 15th, angels watching over me.

Hi Kathryn, I'm also on the 19th. It seems to be getting here really fast!! I am trying to get everything done before the big day! Monday I have to go for all the pre surgery work! Then I just wait. Hopefully I won't be too anxious. How are you feeling about the whole thing? El

Hi Kathryn, I, too, am a 19th woman. I just found out yesterday they were bumping my date up. It seems so unreal. I have a few pre-op things to do, hopefully everything comes back fine. In the beginning of my journey, it was my pcm that recommended this surgery and I was unsure if this was the right thing to do....ya know, "it's so drastic", "there could be complications", "what if something goes wrong", "I don't think I could do that to my kids". The last one is my favorite!!! I don't think it would be fair to my children if mommy died from a heartattack because she was sooo morbidly obese!!!! Anyway, it has been through a lot of prayer that I have come to the point I am at today. I asked our maker if this was what I was supposed to be doing and all the doors have opened (alittle too easy but I won't complain). Good luck to you and everyone else have WLS.
