The waiting game

Well, I made to today. I'm suprised I slept as well as I did last night. Usually I don't before things like this. Unfortunately my surgery isn't until 6:45 this evening. The last one scheduled for today. I don't even report to the hospital until 3:45. So I get to sit around hungry and thirsty and with a headache until then. I'd kill for a cup of coffee right about now. I just have to remember that it will all be worth it. Thanks for letting me vent.

Timothy, Congrats on your surgery first of all!! I think venting is quite normal when you're hungry, thirsty,have a headache AND are suffering from caffeine withdrawals YESSSSSSS, you have to remember it'll all be worth it in the end!! I WOULD GO NUTS IF MY SURGERY WAS NOT TILL 6:45 ..I HOPE MINE WILL BE AT 6AM . I DONT KNOW WHAT TIME I HAVE TO BE AT THE HOSPITAL TILL THE DAY BEFORE WHEN I DO MY PRE-OP AND THAT ALL COULD CHANGE WITH THE T/S COMING GOOD LUCK AND WE WILL SEE YOU ON THE LOSSING SIDE SARA

Just got a call from the surgery center. They are running ahead of schedule and bumped my surgery up and hour to 5:45. LETS GO!

well i hear ya ! (I'm venting already )~~ i'm on clears for my surgery all day today till midnight~~~then NPO for my surgery~tomorrow ..( my poor husband) he is hiding my thoughts and prayers are with you ~~~~~Suzanne~~~~~~
