CALLING ALL JULY 11 SURGERIES

Hi! It's good to know I won't be alone in this!! I'm scheduled for the 11th--don't have a time yet.....I'm keeping busy shopping for all my new meds and vitamins!! I've decided that I"m going to replace eating with knitting and cross stitch!! I have a bunch of old projects that my husband would love to see me finish!! Good luck to everyone else on the 11th!!

Vanessa, Thanks for the response! I don't have a time yet myself, I will find out tomorrow afternoon. I hope it is early! I think the knitting and cross stitch is a great idea I am gonna try to just get my house in order over the next few days and hopefully the family will keep it that way Make sure you keep us posted after surgery so we all know how we are all doing. I'm part of the July 11th birthday club also. I went to the "Bariatric Bootcamp" today and met with my surgeon. He informed me that I'll be losing my Gall Bladder in addition to most of my stomach on Monday. YIKES. I am all of the emotions everyone else has described but I still know that I made the right decision for me. My dearest friend, who's had this surgery will be coming in on Sunday to support my husband while he waits. And she'll be my angel afterwards. If it wasn't for her, I don't know that I would have taken this step. You will all be in my prayers on Monday. Mine is at 7:30 AM EST. Wish me luck Kitty

My surgery is Monday also! YAY! The hospital is calling tomorrow with the time. Can't wait til its over! Best wishes to all of you! -Dee
