July 28 (need to talk)

Hi everyone. I have been reading about alot of you and you sound so much like I feel. I hope all of you the best of luck and prey for you. I don't know what to expect I have been approved an my sugery date is July 28. I have pre-op on the 8th. I don't know what that consist of. I only know an upper GI. Does anyone live in the AZ. and have Dr. Juarez. I don't know if I will be on a diet before surgery or not. I would like to talk to someone who knows anything about him. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO ANYONE.

Janice- Hey, I don't have my official date in writing...but they tell me it is being scheduled for the last week of July. So my date should be close to yours. I am having laparoscopic Roux-en-y. I hope to know the exact date sometime in the morning! Linda

Linda- maybe we will have our surgery the same day. I went todaay and had all my pre-op done and the one thing I was worried about was the pulmonary Dr. had to clear me and he gave me the ok. Now I have to wait 20 days for the surgery. I proably won't get any sleep the night before so I will be so tired they can just knock me out and I won't remember a thing. HAHA I went to a seminar and they gave us these little cups they said is all we will be able to drink and eat after the surgery. It is like the cups they have on medicine bottles for dosages.
