July 11th is my Independence Day

I just finished my pre-o testing on the first. Only 4 more days of work and then on the 11th my surgery. Many of my friends have had the surgery and are doing very well. I am so excited about this new path I am going down. I know it will be difficult but worthwhile. I caanot wait to be able to get down on the floor and play with my grnadchildrenagain. Also, to walk without pain, not have to worry about the size of a seat!And, I can't wait to shop!

Good luck to you. Mine is also the 11th. I'm very nervous but I am also looking forward to: gardening, non-baggy clothes, walking without pain, back troubles calming down and great nails because of all the protein I'll be consuming

my surgery is the 11th also.Are you guys as nervous as I am? I just want it over so I can quit worrying about it. alena

My surgery is the 11th too, in Miami Florida and I'm so nervous and ansy its pathetic. Good luck to you too. ut just think no more worries on wheter you will fit in a chair or on an airplane seat or if the next little will ask why you are so fat. Good Luck. Gladys

I can't wait I am there too! The 11th is my date too. I can't wait to be able to exercise without getting out of breath. Cross my legs at church like the other women do. I am sooooooo excited. 7 days

Hi My surgery is also on the 11th. I am NOT nervous and have not been since I finally made the decision to have this surgery. I guess it is partly because my daughter had the surgery exactly one year ago and has done so beautifully. NO complications--just a beautiful, healthy body. I am visualizing that for myself. I have a lot of confidence in my surgeon and faith in God and what else do I need? I wish you the best of luck with your surgery!! This time next week we'll be on the "losing side"!! Sandy
