Is anyone's surgery date July 19th??????

Anyone going on the same day as me? Anyone in New Jersey?

Hi. My surgery is Juy 19 in Charlotte North Carolina. How are you guys feeling? I am excited, nervous not so much about dying now as complications like leaks, my new way of eating, and post op pain. I have not told my kids yet (ages 5,7, 12, and 13). But I knw this will work and I can't wait to feel like I look good again. I want to be normal sized so so badly!!! So I am trying to focus on that. Anyone else have trouble telling people? Sort of embarassed I can't get my weight under control without going to the extremes of surgery. Julie

Hi Julie, After my husband and I did alot of heart to heart talking and I finally decided to have WLS, I was telling everyone. I was and still am excited about the surgery. Sandy

My date is July 11th, a week before you but I'm in New Jersey. Way down in Cape May. My surgery will be in Atlantic City at the medical center. I have confidence in my Dr. but I'm still nervous. Good luck to you and best wishes for a healthy outcome. Kitty
