totally losing my mind!!!!!!

ok i did all my research from around february, finally got an appointment with a surgeon in april and then wham-o my surgery is flying up on me in 9 days!!!! i can't believe it! i am excited but sooooooooooooo nervous anyone else losing their mind? oh and by the way i think i bought enough jello to feed a small 3rd world country!

Now that it is getting close to July my nerves are starting to act all out of whack. I have been emailing the coordinator about everything. I thinks she might think im a little I'm so ready to get it done and over with.

Oh yeah... I'm with ya..... I have a new panic attack every day now. Yet I am still excited.... and then terrified.... and then excited... and then terrifed... and then excited... and then terrified... .....you get the idea.

Hey Kristi! I'm right there with you! My surgery is on the 5th! I know exactly how you feel. There are minutes when I'm elated, others when I'm so nervous, and others when I just want it over! Keep in touch - its nice to have a friend with the same surgery time! I'll be here for you!!! Karen

I know how you feel Kristi . My surgey is the 11th and I am scared to death. I am so glad were all together in this and there are others to talk to. Wishing you a great surgery and recovery. love alena

I think everyone suffers from anxiety--esp as our dates get closer. But if you are a good little WLS patient, and have a competent surgeon-then you need to focus on the positive. Just think how wonderful you will feel when you get down to a normal weight! This will be a life changing experience for all of us.. Good luck and Keep positive! Yep-- I am nervous too! But its normal!

Nervous but ready for the 11th to be over. I also have a pantry filled with jello. I had the sj popsicles but I will have to buy some more, my 3 sons have already eaten them all. Debbie
