finally got my date of July 19th

Finally I have my date for July 19th. I was suppose to have my surgery on June 7th but during my pre-ops they found two growths. One on my ovary and one on my kidney. I had to have surgery of course. Boo. The one on my ovary turned out to be a benign complex cyst, thank god, but they had to take the ovary. The other is a tumor that my kidney specialist will watch. So, finally after worrying that I was dying of cancer I'm cleared!!! I'm thinking of going on a liquid diet as well. My doc doesn't require one but what the hell, can't hurt right? I'm so excited and scared at the same time. I guess after reading everybody elses posts these feelings are common place with us huh? I wish everyone the best of luck and god speed with your recoveries.

Deanna, Glad you got your new date, congrats! I am also having surgery on the 19th. Can't wait! What things besides the liquid diet are you doing to prepare?
