Surgery date of July 5th postponed

My name is Brenda and I post poned my surgery date of July 5th, why you may ask. Well let me tell you " I am scared to death that I will not wake up after the surgery is over I was happy at first then I had heart problems and they had to put a stent in I had a 75% blockage but after that something deep in my heart and soul told me not to have this surgery that something may go wrong. I couldn't and I couldn't eat, and I couldn't even do my job. I have anixtey so bad all I did was sit and I don't know what to do, because this is a life changing experience.

All I can say is do what is best for you.

Hi Brenda All you can do is what is right for you. If you feel that this isnt the right path for you then by all means you shouldnt do it. You have to be solid with this decision, it is a life altering decision, one that you will have to live with your entire life. Its scary --- anything unknown always is. My best to you. Good Luck to you and what ever you decide. I think its normal to feel the way you are because this is a major surgery.
