7 days and a wake-up
Oh my gosh, time is really flying by. I am so looking forward to this surgery. It's hard to believe but this Friday is my last official "work" day before my surgery on July 6th. Hooray! I went from having Jitters a week or so ago to total happiness and excitement. I'm ready. Hope all of you that are waiting with me are doing great as well. joyce
Hi Joyce
I think all us "1st weekers" are feeling the same way. Im July 5th and my last work day is Friday too -- Im actually taking Thursday off b/c my surgeon does a "boot camp" at the hospital for 3 hours to show us the floor, introduce us to the nurses, nutrition reminders etc ... Im thrilled, excited, giddy and scared to death all wrapped into one .... person here! Im thankful for you guys tho -- knowing you arent alone really makes it all the better.
Im still a little worried about having everything ready when I get home but Im sure I'll be fine!! Just like we all will!

HI, I'm the 7th too and I am past nervous. Because of my insurance for temp disability. They don't start counting days until the day of your surgery. So that means I actually have to work, tuesday and wednesday of next week. I have to be off for two weeks before my FMLA kicks in. They already have my time schedualed for when I will be back. I was like Man, I have not even left yet. I am really excited, but still worried, slowly coming out of the worried phase and going into the accpetance phase that this is the right thing for me ,and I will be healthier.
