It's real-a date with the band

Finally, all the test passed and complications out of the way. I have another date for the Lap Band surgery. Anxious but a few butterflies in the stomach. Wondering if the Lap Band will do me justice. I am geared up but was told I would have to work harder. Any really good success stories with the band?

Welcome Eric, I am scheduled for my band on July 11 (that's 7-11 for you gamblers) and I can't wait. I belong to several message boards and one in-person support group. There are thousands of success stories out there. Yes we lose the weight slower, but it's adjustable and a much less invasive surgery. There are pros and cons to each type of surgery so each person has to make the right decision for them. No one said this is going to be easy but together with each other's help, we can do this.
