Alrighty gang ... Finding myself in a HUGE dilemna here. I have an out of town friend coming tomorrow and all I can "focus" on is what I'm gonna feed her when she's here! I started thinking about how all my life everything has revolved around food! Somebody's coming over ... OMG, better make something to eat! Somebody goes in the hospital ... better bake'm a cake! Somebody gets a sore throat ... take'm chicken soup and the more fattening the better ... cause you know sick people still want it to taste good! I'm sure ya'll are getting my point here ... Soooooooo, anyhoo ... I began to think of things we can do at home OTHER than just graze around the kitchen (do people graze in the North or is this just a southern term constantly having something in your mouth?) I've come up with these suggestions thus far ... 1.) Dirty word Scrabble (gotta make it funny or it's no fun!) 2.) Rent Pretty Woman and take turns speaking Julia Roberts part in your sexiest voice. 3.) Dial # 67 and make prank phone calls ... 4.) Talk about boys and or men if ya know any ... 5.) Compare surgical stories to see who's was more horrific ... 6.) 7.) fruit ... 8.) course that's fattening too ... empty calories but FUN ones!! 9.) this is where I need help ..any other suggestions???? Would so like to see what ya'll think ... Kimberly ... feeling the pressure

LOL. But seriously folks.... ...I think I will still make all those foods for my guests. Cause I like doing it. And I hope that doesnt' change. But I would ALSO be making myslef stuff too. Like... for thanksgiving... I would still make pumpkin pie for family... but I will also try to make myself somethign special with SF jello or such. And for parties... I will still make the dip that is great... but will probably also have a cheese tray (and such) that I can eat.

LOL hi Maria Let me suggest something. You will NOT eat sugar free Jello while your family is having pumpkin pie! I beleive after you pass the clear liquid stage you will never want to look at Jello again! Pumpkin is excellent food (high fiber) and a pumpkin pie can be made with reduced sugar (Splenda for baking) and just don't eat the crust. Tada! (But extra points for believing the Jello thing...)
