Pre-op dates?

Hi everyone-how far apart is or was your surgery dates and your pre-op dates. My pre-op is June 21 and surgery is July 18. I'm hoping maybe they will offer earlier surgery date.

Pre-op testing is June 23rd and surgery is July 6th. Tina

my pre-op is July 6th due to holiday and my surgeon being on vacation, and my surgery date is July 18th.

My pre-op is June 24th because my surgeon is going to the Bariatric conference in Orlando. I have surgery on July 12th. Kim

Congrats on your date, on can't wait myself. My pre-op is June 30th and my surgery is July 13th. Not too bad. I haven't acutally seen my surgeon since November 11, 2004 when I had my consult. I waited this long becuase I'm self paying and had to get married and get a home equity loan on my husband's house....now mine too I guess. So I'm looking forward to seeing my surgeon. I have gone through all the pre-op requirements i.e. phych eval, dietition, physical therepist and support groups. Now I just have to start my optifast diet on Monday and I'll be officially on my way.

My preop is July 5th and surgery July 11. They may want you to be done with all info incase they have an opening sooner. Good luck!!

I don't even get my pre-op date until 6/23 when I see the surgeon to sign my consent forms....and my surgery is 7/18! Hmmm....I wonder if I should call them tomorrow???? Well they are closed to patients tomorrow...so maybe I will wait until Thursday ( my 33rd b-day ) and see what they say! Thank you ladies for bringing that up to me...although I am sure, they have it under control, I will feel better hearing from them! Have a good night Happy Zzzzzzz
