I'm going "NUTS", husband is going in 2 days

Hi everyone, my husband is going for his surgery in 2 days and a wake up He is driving me nuts. Men can be such big babies. I understand that he is nervous and excited at the same time but do ya think he could act like a man just a little? I love John with all my heart and I would'nt know what to do without him but how much supportive can I be? What can I do to reassure him everything is going to be alright? I've prayed with him and talked to I'm blue in the face, please give me some advice if you can. ************************Thanks Cheri

Hopefully, the 2 days will fly by. I think just doing what your doing is great. Listening to him is supporting him. your turn will come Seriously, it's in God's hands, so for me it's a question of faith. Maybe try to keep him busy. Probably would have been better if the 2 days were work days. good luck to both of you! Steff

I'm going nuts myself from waiting. I sleep, sleep, sleep! I've decided to do a whole lot of reading to pass the time. I went to Books A Million today and bought a book since the library is closed. Getting lost in books is the only thing that takes me away from thinking about days and the surgery. I would tell him to find something he likes to do and do it. We've also been talking long rides over the weekend or window shopping. Good Luck and God bless!

Hey Cheri, Me again. I would try what someone else suggested, keep him busy! Do something together that will pass the time faster. I find myself thinking about it too much sometimes. When I keep busy(which is easier with three kids running around), it is easier to not think about it. I would just continue what you guys are doing with the praying, maybe say some prayers by yourself the he will have peace and comfort the next couple of days. I am a living testimony that prayers are answered! I will pray the same thing for both of you(as well as saying a prayer for your sanity through his trying time). lol You both are very brave souls and I believe that God will bless you greatly.
