what is an angel?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me exactly what an angel does and what they are for. I see that it states that I'm in need of one I was just wondering. Thanks in advance******************Cheri

Hi Cheri, From everything that I have read, I think an angel is something like a support person. They email back and forth with you and stay updated about what is going on in your WLS journey. When you are in the hospital, they keep everyone updated on the boards about your surgery. I am not really sure myself, because I am a pre-op myself and have never been an angel for someone.
