I'm sorry to hear this Ashley but if your gallbladder is anything like mine was you'll feel so much better once it's gone.

Ashley, Not sure what symptoms you've been having; but I was happy to have mine gone (had it done several years before my WLS). My WLS surgeon removes it routinely because so many post-op patients experience gallbladder disease after losing weight. The gallbladder no longer needs to function as much or as frequently so it becomes stagnant and this increases the formation of stones. Best of luck. Maria 272/155/138 pre/post/current
