Andrea and Peter, I am so excited that you have set a date and set things in motion! Did you ever think that two years ago when you were just beginning your new life after surgery that in two years you would have lost all the weight, and met the love of your life and now getting married? I am so thrilled for you both and can't wait to see some pictures! We may not all physically be in the room with you at the wedding, but we will all be there in spirt. And Andrea, yes, you are a girl, and weddings bring out our girlie side no matter how hard you try not to. Its just the law of nature! HUGS to you both!

July 28... Justin, Marge, and I may well crack open a bottle of Champaign to celebrate your day!!! It's exciting to see so many of us taking the wonderful opportunities this surgery has offerred. I hope that Peter's house sells quickly... at least before all the snow melts. Looking forward to reading about your future plans. Admiringly, Dave

Overall - just great. I'm still working on taking off the 10 pounds I put on over the holidays. Some of it is gone, but not all of it. Next vacation (next week) I'm taking my scale with me to remind me that there are consequences. Work wise I'm now a consultant. Managing the same project I was managing before as an employee. They pay me more per hour but don't cover benefits. For them it is almost a wash. For me, it is working out better. However, being a consultant means I don't have any idea if or for how long this work will continue. My present contract only covers me into March. I'm luckier than most, I do have a retirement income as a fallback, though it needs to go into the bank for when I really retire in the future. Next week we go to Whistler/Blackcomb for skiing. I'm excited. When I ski, and fall down, I'll be able to get back up. I haven't skied in over 15 years and not since high school at a weight as low as I am now. I'm thinking I'll need to take a lesson for a refresher. -Pam

I just want to send you absolutly the best wishes for your marriage Andrea & Peter.. It's such a lovely thing that you have found each other. We July Babies share in your happiness and just know how happy and proud of you we are.!!! Such exciting news, shouldn't somebody let the powers that be at obesityhelp.com in on the fact you two met on here are going to be married as a result of meeting on the July Board ( and falling in love of course) .. They could do a photo shoot of you guys for the OH Magazine.... Again many good wishes.. peace Mo
