Well here is an update on my plastics consult yesterday. Since it was just an update from the previous one last June, I didn't have to get totally nekkid again YIPPEE... But they did show me my full color photos YIKES !!!!!!!!!!! I am tentatively set for the first week in March. Going to have Belt Lipectomy, Thigh Lift, Breats Augmentation (D cup here I come) with the newly FDA approved Silicon boobies. They are totally redone, not liquid any longer, more like jello consistency, much much better now. Actually my doctor said he just removed his wife's salines and put in the silicones. And while I am knocked out he is going to do a TCA chemical peel to help with these leftover teenage large pores I have then in 6 weeks to a Temperal Mini Face Lift. WHEW, Im gonna be in a lotta pain for a bit but hopefully it will all be worth it. Sue

sounds like a great plan Sue!!! Just curious - are they going to do all of that at one time? I've only had one consult so far, but they would not consider doing more than the LBL alone, then the thighplasty, then the BL/BA and arms - three separate surgeries which didn't thrill me to say the least. Lots of luck!! Sharon

Hey Sharon, yep he will do the thighs, belt and breasts at once and he said the peel only adds another 30 min to it. Can't do the facelift as he will only have someone be under anesthesia for total of 6 hours for safety reasons. He has been doing this for 15 years and is an instructor for the medical colleges around here so I am totally confidant with him. He said actually it is safer than multiple surgeries as you want to minimize the number of times you are put to sleep for surgeries. Only problem I have is he is HOT AS HELL http://www.faceandbodycenter.com/bio.brantley.cfm Sue

My he is quite handsome LOL. Nothing like having a hot man pull around your excess skin, eh??? I think he makes sense. I want to get more done so that I can avoid going under multiple times, so I need to shop around more for doctors. It just sucks paying for each consult then deciding it's not for you - I may need to travel to a larger city to find someone who will do this the way I want. I'm jealous !!!! Good luck and keep us posted. sharon

Sue I am so happy for you. I wish I could make this Abdominoplasty happen for myself. For now I'll live it through you and Tim. You have so much to look forward to. Congratulations on being able to take this thing to the next step. peace Mo

I was going to say the same thing as Sharon about doing it all at once - that is GREAT! And so what about the pain - at least it'll only be once instead of multiple times - you get it all out of the way. And you can take it! LOL And yes, the surgeon is pretty hot!

Hi Sue, Congrats on your upcoming surgery!! I am home recooping from mine now. I had inner thigh lift, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, lipo on my inner knees, outter thights, hips and flanks, and fat injections in my lips. I had mine all done at once, too. Everyone kept saying I was crazy to do it all at once but I wanted it all over. I had a hard time with having the thighs and breasts done together. My chest muscles hurt so bad I couldn't move my arms. My inner thighs made it nearly impossible to move my legs. It seems to be natural to try to compensate for your legs by using your arms and visa versa. When they are both in pain you feel really stuck. I am almost 3 weeks out now and it is much better. The inner thighs are the worst. My surgeon told me that 70% of people have the incisions open up on the inner thighs. The 1st week or week and a half I was fine and then one of my incisions opened. He doesn't stitch them back together and says they will close and heal on their own from the inside out. I still have a hole in my leg. I hope it closes soon. It is amazing to look down and see a flat tummy. I went with a full C cup on the breasts and can't believe how perky they are. I think in the end it will all be worth it. Good luck! Shellie
