I'm Alive!! (and home)

At least that's what they keep telling me. I must be because dead people don't feel this much pain! I ended up having 2 hernias repaired. They found a real big one in my groin that they had to fix with mesh. Thats the one that really hurts right now. I'm all stooped over and walking real funny but it can only get better. Got 2 drains going also. Of course on of them popped open during the ride home. I need to get my sisters car cleaned. Got my vicodin and antibiotics going. Dont check in with the doc. till next week. Thats about it for now, it hurts to type(OWWWWW) Tim

Good to hear from you, I was wondering how things went. Any idea how much skin they removed? What does it look like all tight and firm? I want pictures Tammy

I feel your pain. I got home on the 19th. I am now just able to sit up. Dr. found one hernia but it was small and repaired. My sister went to get my pain meds and the doc put the wrong date on them. So the drug store could not give them to me.So the office would only write me one for a mild pain med, cause doc is away . These drains tubes , I agree they suck . I am so hoping they come out soon. HAHA but not like yours did. That has to suck. They said it happens alot though, I think I would freak out. Dr. wants me in for more surgery but right now I have to get over this before I even think about it. Hope you keep feeling better each day.
