amy...hey, we had surgery on the same day!! sisters!! I have not been doing the same disappearing act that you are doing, though! Do you eat?? I haven't been following the saga here on our July boards regularly...just drop in from time to time.... Have you had a blockage or anything like that?? Just wondering... i'm always on the lookout for potential problems that people around my same time are experiencing... I hope you continue to gain enough to reach your healthy weight!! blessings!! I don't know how to spell it but it was my pancreas. It is not squeezing out what it suppose to. And my food is going through my pouch faster than it should. He said if I eat 500 cals. I am only getting like 100. I do eat. I still eat 6 small meals a day. If I try just 3 I don't get in enough cals. I hope with the new meds it will all be good from here. The doctor wants me at 120. but even 110 looks good to me. Thanks for caring. God bless. Amy

I replied on the NC board, too. What does the doc say for keeping the weight moving up? I thought that you had the nausea under control; what's keeping you from eating? They do have anti-nausea pills... perhaps anti-anxiety to keep the tummy under control? Keep talking to the doc! He seems to have a few other patients with problems; he should have experience in solving them! frances

Is it pancreatitis sweetie? That will make you not hungry. It is an infection of your pancreas sometimes caused by a blockage of the pancreatic duct. Also sometimes you get gallstones with it. Has your gallbladder been removed?

no something about it is not squeeaing out stuff that is was suppose to. The meds are really helping. I just wonder why they didn't find this a long, long time ago. I am 15 months out. And been sick almost the whole time. But I am just thankful they did find it this time. I have not puked in a few days now. I was up to 100 and now I am back to 97. Seems like I am eating all the time. I wake up eating go to bed eating. And I have to set my clock to get up and eat every 2 hours. I eat the protein bars. Well 1/2 at a time. Can't get in all of it at once. I think I should be able to hold more being this far out. And I still can't do any thing at all fried or any thing with suger. Sugar kills me. I had my gallbladder took out year and years ago. I had pancreatitis about 8 years ago. Thought I would die then. Have a good day and god bless. Amy
