mirror vs. pictures

Do you ever look at a current picture of youself and not believe that it is actually YOU???? I had hubby snap a few pics of me this morning becuse my girlfriend bougth me a cute jactet for my birthday and I wanted to send her an email with a pic of me wearning it. Hubby sent the pics to me and I just don't see myself in the mirror the same way I look in pictures. I guess my brain still has some catching up to do as the mirror image is never as cute as what I look like in the pics.. So which one is correct? The mirror or the pictures?? Do you see the same thing in the mirror as you see in pictures of yourself? Anywho I added a few pics to profile this morning. Hugs to all! Shannan 259/148/130

I don't like my current avatar pic. I think I look TOO skinny in it. Probably because I took it myself. I don't think I photograph well at all. Much better looking in person, and in the mirror. Maybe I just need to get someone to take a new pic. for me and it will come out better. I like your new pics. You look very cute! Tim

I hope the mirror is right about my face and hope the pics are right about my body. My face looks very old in some pics, especially ones taken with a flash. I always opt out of the flash. This is why all of my pics have that soft orangy glow to them. Oops! Forgot to chack out the new pics before I posted. I'll go do that now. I cant wait to see you......even if you DO spell your name all wrong! 'bu

Wow Shannan, you look AMAZING!!!! Truly, truly amazing. You are absolutely gorgeous!! And yes, I know what you mean about looking at yourself in the mirror. Mine is more dresses vs undressed. When I am naked, I still see the fat girl. I still look fat and all that skin bothers me and makes me feel like I haven't lost the weight. But dressed is completely different. No reflective surface is safe from me! I can't believe how different I look and the kinds of clothes I can (and do!) wear. Blows me away. When I think of myself & how I look, I see a combination, or kind of in-between the fat girl & thinner one. I swear I don't know what I look like anymore! It's kinda confusing sometimes. Thank Lisa,.... and all I can say is DITTO.. You look amazing as well. That pic of you in the light green minni skirt is my absolute favorite!! I don't even want to talk about being naked in the mirror... All i see in the reflection is SKIN, SKIN and more skin.. and I can't do a stinking thing about it as we are planning for babies once i hit goal in the very near future.. so i guess it will have to just hang until i'm all done having babies... small price to pay i guess..... thanks for taking the time out to respond.. i just love it when you jump in and say hi to us!!!
