hi, um, i am brandy, um remember me?

hi julyers! haven't been on OH in like FOREVER....ok maybe not forever but a couple months i'll bet. i have been busy busy busy. trying to stay busy busy busy. and thinking about being busy busy busy. life is good. i'm feeling good. my husband and i just got back from hawaii. we went to maui. had a WONDERFUL TIME!!!!! we went for 2 reasons, one for my good friends wedding and the other to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary (we actually got married on halloween but we are calling this our 10 year trip anyways!) the wedding was beautiful, we went to a luau, we snorkeled, we swam, we sunbathed (gasp...i was in the SUN!!! and i didn't turn to ashes!!) we took a drive up the north part of maui and found a little village with homemade banana bread and coconut candy that was sooo yummy!, we hiked (or at least MY version of hiking) we hung out just the two of us (which is hard with a 5 year old around all the time) my husband went deep sea fishing while i got the most wonderful massage, it was heaven. it was really rough coming back to reality and having to put on "real clothes" and do my hair and makeup. i lived in a swim top and board shorts for most of the trip. it was so awesome. i loved it there. we are definatley going back next year! here are some pics http://photobucket.com/albums/f115/humanfund i am now down 145 lbs. i feel great! maui would NOT have been the same trip if i were still wearing that 145 lbs that i have shed! what a difference! anyways, i want to lose another 20 and i have started talking to plastic surgeons i met one that i REALLY REALLY LIKED! i am hoping to have my arms and boobies done in january and then maybe my midsection (money permitting) done next summer sometime. i don't have time to post very often anymore. i get up and get my kiddo to kindergarten, i go to the gym, come home and shower then off to work. just to do it again the next day. i do have a new development though. i have a day all to myself!!! my daughter is now in school on mondays and i have the whole day to do whatever it is i want to do. i spend my first monday with strep throat. so i am looking forward to next monday to really do what i want and NOT be sick! haha. hope everyone is well. brandy

We made two trips to the Aloha State in the mid 90s. It's magic is all encompassing from the food to the people and finally ,the activities. We've snorkeled Atlantic reefs, Great Barrier Reef, Hawaii and the Carribean. Hawaii wins hands down. There was a 5 year period when we sent Hawaiian flowers on special occassions. Friend loved them! I hope other JUliers son enjoy the experience. It's life changing. Dave

Looked at your Hawaii pictures. You look great! Hawaii is fun, we went for our first time earlier this year. Glad you checked in and let us know how you are doing. Hi Brandy, You look absolutely amazing..... You look so happy and calm in your pics. Hubby and I just got back from 9 days in hawaii in June. It was the first time for me and I want to go back again soooo bad!!! I too remember how freeing it was to walk around in bathingsuit and wrap and not be self consious about how I looked... can you imagine going before WLS..i'm sure it would have been fun but there is no way we could have seen and done everything we did with 100+pounds on our bodies. I am really happy for you and again you are just a beauty.. Now you need to update your little profile pic cause your face has really changed... Aloha! Shannan
