PS - $20,434 - HOLY CRAP!!!
Okay, so I went to my second PS consultation to a doc that is very highly recommended.
I told him I've been stuck for the past 3 or more months and that I'm maintaining (I'm still not exercising ... aaaaarrrrrrhhhhhggggg!!)
N e ways, he lifted, and prodded and suggested I do a lower body lift for $20,434!! He says my body is maintaining and unless I do something drastic (seriously start to exercise again and lower my calories), I won't loose anymore weight. Usually he doesn't want his patients to go on a crash diet and loose 30-40 lbs (that is if you want surgery within the next 6 months) because then you will be too weak for such a large operation.
He said a lower body lift would help with my legs because he could do lipo, but the skin on my legs would be alot more saggy than they are now and a lower body lift would lift that up. But $20,434 for just stomach, hips and legs are crazy ... and the boobs are an additional $8,000 - $12,000 on top of that!?
So my resolve is to get my big ass of the couch, exercise even if it is only for 30 minutes, no more junk and make my goal to be 30lbs lighter my January. Hopefully that will help me only need a full tummy tuck that will be about $8,000. I did look at pictures he did of lower body lifts of people alot bigger than me and holy crap ... it looked amazing! They looked better than I do ... so if I don't make my goal, I think the $20,434 would be worth it even I would be crying crocodile tears while writing the check!!
N e ways, that was just a short update from my side ... everyone's looking beautiful and enjoy the last days of summer!!!!!
Your welcome Pam my dear and btw, you look fabulous!!!!
I forgot to mention that he also said that if you are not at goal when you have PS, not to worry to much about it. He said alot of people loose weight after PS and it will not affect your surgery if you loose 10-15lbs after PS.
However, if you go and loose 40-50lbs after PS, your skin will be loose so you probably should wait until your within 20-25lbs of your goal weight because if they remove 10-15lbs of skin and fat, you can loose another 10-15lbs and be at goal without hurting your surgery and wasting money.
That did make sense ...
