Time to weigh in!!!
Getting aquainted with my new limits tops the list. I'm doing yard work and house stuff I've wanted to again do forever. I can again get into spaces that I could only dream of and pay through the nose for knowing how to do the task once there.
Also, I've had the pleasure of reacquainting myself with Johnson-ian stamina!
Same weight.
Dave
As of Sat morning, I was 153.2 (or .4?). I've been teetering between that and 155, which I'm fine with.
Started - 282
loss - about 129
Sat - 153.2
2 words for summer achievement: BATHING SUIT!!!
One other thing I've always said I would do if and when I lost weight was to go horseback riding again (I stopped when I thought I weighed more than a horse). I still haven't done it, mostly because I just forgot about it, but its something I definitely want to do one of these weekends.
GREAT topic idea Peter!
To answer the weigh-in:
Highest weight - 360
Surgery weight - 345
Today's weight - 173
Total lost - 187 (Still in awe of that one!)
Goal weight - 160 (but I bet I could get to 150...)
As for what I could do this summer that I couldn't do last, hmm. I'll have to think about that one for a bit. We haven't done any big things this year. With DH in school still, it just hasn't been all that feasible. We did do part of our back yard this summer & put up a bigger pool. But we would have done that anyway. OH, I KNOW! On our anniversary in April, DH & I went to the coast (Oregon coast is so very beautiful...) and I went hopping around on the rocks. It was so cool! I haven't been able to do that in YEARS. My center of balance was always so off from my huge gut. I jumped around and felt so comfortable doing it. What a great feeling! And I agree with Skinny Inside; BATHING SUITS! I have a swimsuit now and I don't remember the last time I had one of those. It's been years & years.
Again, what a great idea!
Hugs all!
