Recovery

Many of you know about my never ending construction going on at my house. I'm not sure how many of you know that this is also the house I grew up in. One of the unexpected joys I have discovered are all the pieces of my childhood I have been finding, especially since I've been digging in my back yard. I never realized how many old and broken toys were buried out there. I must have found a dozen marbles, a yo-yo, several toy cars and pieces of cars, and today a plastic army man. I feel like I've found treasure, not in the objects themselves but in the recovered memories. As I've reclaimed my health I feel like I've also reclaimed a bit of my youth. I wonder what I'll recover tommorow? Tim

This made me smile........I can just see you playing in the dirt. I've reclaimed my teenage years......or at least that would be the only way to explain all of the unbridled hormones raging through this new body! Malibu

You have your own time capsule in the back yard. You could invite archeologists in and apply for grants. That will supplement the unemployment nicely and start a whole new career. Have fun digging. -Pam

Tim - Have you ever considered writing? I mean, books, articles, poetry. You have a very unique and distinct way in which you bring words to life and that is a talent only few good writers have. Go check out Writer's Market and go submit some stuff -- you never know where it may lead... Nan
