Don't need extra iron and only time my legs get restless is if I miss my walk. Did my 5 miles this morning tho so I'm OK.

At 3 month labs my iron was way low. So I take two "gentle" iron tablets every day. My 6 month labs were better. I, ummm, haven't done my 1 year labs -- I should go in for the blood draw this week. The doctor ordered them, but...
Start -- 320
Current -- 189
Loss -- 131; 1.5 pounds lost this week
Goal -- 150
For my goal, I'm actually thinking 160, that will be half my starting weight. I'll just have to see how I do when I get there.

Hi Mo,
GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU!!! I love seeing your smiling face here. And CONGRATULATIONS on your loss. Wow, only 10 pounds to goal; that's got to feel GREAT!
For the third part:
Highest weight - 360
Surgery weight - 345
Today's weight - 175
Total Lost - 185
Goal weight - Somewhere between 150 & 160
For the first part:
I do take iron. There is someone who has a vitamin shop not too far away who is all over the vitamin thing. I get my b12 from him as well and my B12 is *always* high (whereas a lot of my girlfriends have to get shots). Anyway, this iron does not cause any stomach upset. My vitamin guy is very much in to health & wellness & organics & all that stuff. I swear knows *way* more than a pharmacist! I've never been told that my iron is low, however so I'm not sure that's any help to you.
For the second part:
Yes, I have had experience with restless leg syndrome. *Highly* unpleasant! My Grandma had it severly. I swear that's what finally killed her. She had horrible bad knees & hips but couldn't stop moving because it was so uncomfortable. I think she finally just gave up. I tend to have brief bouts of it. I hate it, though. When it happens I try to push my foot up against the footboard (or I'll go out to the couch to pu**** up against the edge) and I get some relief that way. Grandma always had to walk it off. I remember from my youngest days her being up in the middle of the night walking. I take it that you are struggling with this? If you are, I'm so sorry. It sucks terrible. The clinic around here is actually doing a study on restless leg syndrome. I thought about signing up for it, but mine isn't very bad. I never know when it's going to flare u*****t. So probably not a good candidate.
Well I think that answers all your questions! I hope you had a fabulous Sunday!
Hugs,
Lisa
