Well that sucks, Jen. I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. I guess you've spoken to the nutritionist about this. But from your posts, it seems to me that you eat very little. Are you sure you are eating enough, and particularly enough protein, to keep your metabolism going? I have read a number of accounts where folks start losing better after they start eating MORE. What abou****er retention? Are your ankles puffy? I sometimes gain weight after vigorous exercise because I swell up with water retention. Is there a chance you are pregnant ?

the nurse practioner of dr. I and the nutritionist put me on this strict meal plan cause i said i never feel full and that i hadn't lost a pound since mnoth 6- and they told me to eat this way.... my ankles are skinny- bones and skin- so nope they're not puffy... pregnant- no jennifer

Jen..... if anyone can sympathize with you, its me! Im in the exact same boat. I lost a few pounds and then all of a sudden there back! I am doing great with my exercise. I do about 1 1/2 hours in the gym 4 times per week, and i watch what i eat....its the most aggrivating thing ever that im not losing weight. Do you feel like your clothes are getting looser? I do. Im hoping im losing inches. Its is super discouraging though, but figure that something has got to give....i also havent lost anything in like 3 months. What the hell? Whats worse for me, is that i still have at LEAST 80 pounds to lose to reach my goal, 100 pounds for my ideal weight! Hang in there girl, your not alone

Sounds like you should get the scale OUT OF YOUR HOUSE! It is running your life. Then, give your whole heart and commitment to the meal plan the nutritionist/doctor has you on for at least two weeks. You are doing well on it. Then, if it doesn't work - go back and talk to them about doing something else. For me, it was adding protein that restarted weight loss. Now I need to get more excercise and water (my mantra). However, I'm not losing at anything close to the weight I lost in the beginning. Now I'm only losing a pound or two a month. Take care, we're thinking about you. -Pam

stop it. girlfriend, get focused again. THROW AWAY the scale and regain your life back. Even pregnancy - it only comes to us when we least expect it. Same with weight loss. Make a wish. Yeah, and just mebbe a coupla taco salads a day is not the way to go. UP your protein. Drink a s*itload of water. Change up your food and eat more eggs or something. Our bodies LEARN. They learn what we do and adjust likewise. Throw your heart's desire out into the universe and BELIEVE in your heart. and then STOP getting OBESSIVE! we love you and ALWAYS wish for the best, dear, nan
