beat the heat

It's hotter than hell here today. The thermometer in my car said 103 during my drive in to work. (heat index was 120) And my air in my car only blows lukewarm. I know it's baking all around the midwest. How's everybody holding up? At least I work in a nice climate control building. Has anybody noticed the heat not bothering them as bad this summer? we got RAIN today... so much cooler... (still muggy though) but not the 100 it got yesterday.. it's i think about 80... i can breath.. (at least physically) jennifer

It's been beautiful here! Nee ner nee ner nee ner!!!! Breezy, spot of rain, over cast and nice cool mornings. Going out for a dip in the pool in a few minutes in my new smokin bathing suit! NOOO!!!! NO PICS WILL BE POSTED! Malibu

its miserable here. ugh. i totally notice a difference though with how i handle the heat from last year. its so much better now. I'll tell you though, this winter, i FROZE. I guess my body wasnt used to having less fat. Tomorrow is supposed to be 101!! aaaaahhhhh! I really feel bad for people who work outdoors.

96 here and humidddddddddddd! Think about how this would have been 14 months ago. Next door two guys are put down a dark roof. I got out of the warm pool today and about froze my A$$ off...all shivery from the cool breeze on my wet skin....no this isn't the beginning of a sexy post!!! oh jeez. simply horrible. when you step out for a moment (and i did a LOT today) you break into a quick sweat in a sec. it was 103 heat index, 98 by thermometer in ky today. horrible. i am desiring a reprieve. nan

It is HOT here is Texas. High 102 heat index 108! But I agree with everyone else here, losing the weight this year has made a huge difference in how I handle the heat. I work second shift and sometimes at work after the sun goes down, I get chilled from the air conditioner. And that has never happened. I may have to buy a jacket for winter for the first time in years.

It is so cold here at my work.....I have to sit 2 inches from my heat. Then when I get home the kids has it so cold I have to go out to get warm. I will freeze this winter. Amy
