ouch... i was having an "icee" popsicle thing- and the darn plastic CUT a big huge slit in my mouth- TWO huge ones... inside on the lip/mouth- GO**** HURTS ... finally got the bleeding to stop... i think i'll stick to my sugar free- non plastic sleeve ones.. what a baby... OUCH.. (also gained a pound- re-weighed myself this afternoon-) it's muggy hot- windy though- but it's a heat wind... so we haven't gone outside.. and i really don't want to get on the treadmill right now(joel my son is sleeping) but ugh... i just feel so... hot.. even in our air conditioned house... such a baby i am... jennifer

Just wondering but, you mentioned you weighed yourself this afternoon. Are you always weighing yourself the same time everyday? If you are comparing weights you should always weigh yourself the same time of day all the time. It is really the only way to get an accurate picture of how you are doing. I almost never weigh myself after 10-11 am because by then I've already had breakfast and almost 1/3 of my water for the day. Water weighs allot. With all the heat we've been having the last few days I've been hitting the water hard and this can effect how much you weigh. I typically only weigh myself 1st thing in the morning after I have showered and taken care of business. Early on in the process I noticed that in a given day my weight would fluxuate 2-3 pounds during the day and what really mattered was comparing same to same. My point is don't worry about a pound during the day, it is probably the water you have hopefully been drinking to stay hydrated. Sorry about your cut, mouth cuts HURT! I agree about the heat. I actually turned on my A/C the last couple of days which is unusual, I usually only turn it on few days every summer and I've already run it the last 4 days. Argh I can already picture my electric bill running up. All those people that think MN is nothing but snow should be here now.

I weigh myself almost every 2-3 hours are you kidding.. it's the first thing i do in the morning- after shower- after breakfast before lunch afternoon before supper at night and the last thing i do before going to bed... when school is in session- i only weigh 2 to 4 times a day... I just want to make sure i don't put on the weight again- if i notice more than 2 pound gain- i freak out...... cause i regained when i wasn't weighing myself.... plus my scale was so stupid... this new one keeps the weight honest... (to me anyhoo) GO****'s just MUGGY uncomfortable isn't it!!!!??!!!! jennifer

What about aunt flo? Is she coming for a visit? I always gain about 2-8 lbs when she comes. I feel for you, I weigh myself NOW only once a day but for the first 10 months I was 3-5 times a day. Are you getting in your water and exercise? I don't exercise that much but I love to walk and in this heat I can tell I'm sweating a few pounds off. Also, now that we are a year out it's ok to slow down on loosing weight, but you're like me I want to lose more. Give it time, maybe your body is losing inches right now and then in 2-3 weeks then maybe the lbs will come off. Tammy

Jennifer, you are going to make yourself crazy weighing that many times a day. I say put the scales in the top of the closet and bring them out on Sunday morning right after you get up and go to the bathroom. And naked, always weigh naked.
