Happy anniversary of your first WLS. You've been very successful with the weight loss and you are looking good. Celebrating by having your wisdom teeth pulled is unusual, and your chipmunk pictures are great. All of us feel like failures, sometimes. And all of us have depressed periods, sometimes. However, if it lasts very long, or if you are thinking of (or were thinking of) ending your life - reach out. Reach out to us, your friends, your family, or professionals. If you don't have a counselor, call the suicide hotline - and they can refer you. You are not a failure. And, you are loved and cared about. We care. Please post here and let us know how you are doing. Love you, -Pam

OH, little sis, I so feel your pain. I had all my wisdom teeth taken out at once when I was like 17, so I know how horrible that is. Hope they gave you some good drugs for the pain. Now, as everyone else has said....YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE!! I am so sorry you are going through a rough patch. I know how it is to deal with depression and thoughts of suicide, as it is something I have dealt with and will deal with my whole life. If you need someone to talk to please....PLEASE...email me and I will give you my phone number and my instant messenger info and you can talk to me that way. You have done so great in this past year, and I applaud you for your journey to the triathlon. Know that we all love you and care for you, and do not hesitate to contact me if you need to. Hugs, Nickie

Keep your chin up girl ... you look great and you have accomplished so much!! And it doesn't help that your in pain right now and probably on some drugs ... btw, used soaked teabags helps wonders for blood and swelling! Make sure its cooled down though and put in the back on where your teeth were pulled! I just got my own talking to cuz I completely fell of the wagon myself have gained a little bit of weight! I got a little depressed about it, but then it's put into perspective how far we have come and as of today, back on track and back on program!! Also, your also at an age where like Channon said, your unsure about life in general ... I went through that too when I moved to the country, after having lost lots of weight, then having it picked up within a couple of years. I also had thoughts of ending my life, and actually took pills a couple of times cuz I was so depressed and just hated everything and everyone ... BUT, life gets better and it's just in that moment that things seems helpless and pat yourself on the back .. doing a triatholon, that is so amazing, I take my hat off for you having the strenght and confidence to do that! Your profile pics look awesome ... so keep that head up and enjoy your life right now!
