hey guys
love you all and i am SO HAPPY to see so many new faces around here....
i'm down to 169 - woohoo - been eating lots of good iron-rich foods and protein-rich foods... healthy in general so i'm very happy about that.
i had a great time in vegas but if i were to do anything differently, i would have spent MUCH more time with the July board goobers that showed up. dang i need to GET that people are always more important than work.
i've had a crummy week, but i'm being so freakin brave, i am surprising myself.
my eldest had foot surgery to remove a ganglion cyst. they found two "giant cell cysts" - yeah go google that - and we won't know for 4 days whether they are cancerous or not.
my father in law is in ICU with a host of problems in india. my husbnad is flying back home tomorrow to be with him. so i'm like with the boys alone for the next 10 days.
my twin 13 year olds start 7th grade this year and we went to orientation today at the high school. both got advanced math in pre-algebra and i was very proud. i'm sure those babies will do JUST fine. although i worry sometimes. one of the twins has low self esteem and i see in him all the crap I used to do around other kids to be noticed.
anyhoo, that's what is happening with my life, guys. i love this board. keep posting. i'm NOT even posting all the other stuff i would love to talk about to Channan here.
love you all and keep fighting the good fight!!

Oh Nan, I'm so sorry about your father-in-law's and sons health problems. I hope and pray everything turns out OK.
Congrats on your continued weight loss and YOUR good health. You've worked hard for it and you deserve it.
I wish you could have spent more time with us in Vegas too. It's tough when you have to work while on vacation. Every moment we got to spend together was precious.
I cant wait til I get home and can open whatever that video you sent out is. Don't want to do it here at work tho, bosses might not like that too much.
Love you too
Tim
What do you mean babe? You need to talk to me about something? Shoot me a private e-mail....ok?
This is a mixed bag here. Good stuff and bad.
I sooo wish we had seen you more on our trip. My only regret about that trip is not getting to know you better.
I'm so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. I hope he recovers quickly.
Make SURE you let us know about your sons test results. Don't leave us hangin.
I really do love ya Nannygoat!
Channan
I'm in your corner! I hope the boys have a positive week and that your older son is blessed with a clean bill of health prior to starting school at my graduate alma mater!
What can I say: 13 is that age. Keep your one son in advanced math: our's was challenged by some superb math teachers. It really pays off at university.
May your father-in-law have a peaceful recuperation.
Mo always ends with the right word ...
Peace.
Dave
Nan, congratulations on continuing to lose and a new low!
We wished we saw more of you in Vegas too, maybe next time around?
You should be proud of the twins, sounds like they are doing fine. Sending positive good thoughts your way for your eldest's test results.
Take care of yourself while the husband is gone, likely to be more stressful than normal.
Love,
-Pam
