Another 26er here!!

Yup that's right. One year ago I went under the knife to save my life! I can't belive I actually weight 259 lbs on my little 5 foot body.. I was meant to be peitie and now at 153 lbs I can say I feel small. Of course these last 25 lbs are making me work hard to get them off but I know I will get there.. Especially with the support of all of my new July friends.. Honestly each of you holds a piece of my heart and have played a role in my success... I truly hope this board stays alive year after year! You look great! We have a special group here on this board and you are an important part of that. You've done an amazing job and even if it is only 5# a month right now that is still a large % of your overall weight. Remember at 259 losing 5 was only 1.9% of overall weight now that same 5 is 3.2% of overall weight. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Peter!!! Have i told you lately how smart you are?? Thanks for doing the math for me.. I do notice five pounds a lot more now than I did when I weighed over 200 lbs. Who would have thought that one year could make so much of a difference in all of our lives. We are all bound together by this surgery. Hi Tim, Thanks for taking the time to respond. It was such a fun day.. It even felt better than a birthday! My friends and family even remembered and spoiled me all day. My husband even went shopping with my mom and bought me an outfit to celebrate my success. He NEVER would have attempted this a year ago.. I would say that it is not my typical style but I love it because I know he picked it out with love! Plus he knew my size and everything fit.. It felt like a miracle! I guess you could say its the little things that matter so much! Shannan
