I feel for ya....it's hard to give any suggestions though without more detailed info. Such as what are you getting for fluids, calories, supplements? How much excersise and how often? Snacking? What was BMI at start and what is it now? Start weight and current weight? All these things can play a factor in where you are at. I learned this last week how important the snacking issue is. The days I was in Vegas were probably the first time I went several days in a row all summer without snacking, and low and behold I lost. Give us more info and we will help any way we can. Keep working the tool.

First of all.....we have all done this dance before. SO.....stop with the self-hate talk. "I need to get my fatty self .....". STOP IT! That solves nothing! I think sometimes it takes your body a few days to "believe" you. It's always the second and third week that I lose when I start a new program.....not the first. I can almost gauran-damn-tee you that if you are really doing what you say you are, you will drop a few next week. Be real with yourself.....we only know what you tell us, but you know the whole story. The biggest thing I watch is my calorie intake. I watch it like a hawk. I eat almost only protein rich foods so I don't track that as much anymore because when I do, I always exceed my protein requirements. Stock your fridge with ready to eat meats.....(rotisserie chicken, high-quality lunch meat, hard boiled eggs), cheese, and protein bars. I call this my holy trinity for snack food. It's guilt free and mmmm.....yummy! Also, building muscle will initially add weight, but it also creates, for the lack of a better term, a fat-burning furnace. You will burn more fat and burn it faster than if you had not added the muscle. Besides......muscle creates curves and curves, my dear, are damn sexy.....skinny isn't sexy. Just ask any man you know........curvy or skinny....which do you prefer? So keep up the weight training and keep building those muscles. The scale might not move as fast, but the measuring tape WILL! Good luck babe! I'm very very proud of you for getting back on track! Now go kick some A$$!!!! Malibu

Dinner guest tonight, so no chat. I look forward to chatting soon. I'm up one pound this week. Interesting change in my balding spot on my crown. Our stylist noticed it's gone. Marge is amazed: she says my hair is also starting to darken. THis is too weird. If hair starts to grow at midage, do other anotomical peter..oops, parts, also grow. What a side bene... new hair. Davey-pooh! I get that warm, fuzzy feeling when I see your name pop up on my screen. Glad to hear about your hair....wow! This surgery really does fix EVERYTHING. Unfortunately, mine in growing back all wavy....uh! I hate it! I can't answer your question there....as I lack the basic equipment to assess the situation. Sorry. Malibu

Well, since I weigh on Wednesdays, I'm not sure if this should be on THIS week's weigh in, or next week's, but anyway, I'm back down to my post WLS low of 154 (I've been teetering up to like 156). But I'm down from 282, so I'm pretty excited.
