Ok...so im completely MORTIFIED! I havent lost weight in about 2 months (same old up two pounds, down two pounds) and I know what the problem is...its because ive been eating crap and not exercising. So it finally just hit me ....what the HELL am I doing? I went through this surgery and im not using my tool! So, me and my fiance go and join the gym. I get a personal trainer and everything. So yesterday morning i went for bloodwork for my one year doctor visit in about two weeks. They always take about 6 viles of blood. So its about two hours later and I go for my first appointment with my trainer. He makes me do the treadmill, and Im fine. Then we start doing weight lifting, which I feel completely fine doing too. All of a sudden, after I get off the squat machine, my fiance gets on and starts doing his thing, and im like...man, i need a drink or something, i feel weird. So i go get a drink from the water fountain, and when i get back, my fiance is like...are you ok, and im like, yes, i think i just feel a little nauseus from the cold water...as soon as i said that, the trainer goes, "are you feeling ok?" and I immediately feel super dizzy and im like, yes, im ok, just dizzy...the next thing i know, im waking up on the ground!!!! They said I fainted!!!! How mortifying is that! The fatty at the gym faints! I wanted to die. They make me stay on the ground and drink gatoraid. Ive never fainted in my entire life! Do you think that it could have been the bloodwork that made me faint? It was only 6 viles, which isnt even a pint? I did eat about 1/2 hour before we went to the gym. Two eggs w/ 1/2 slice of cheese. Im worried that if i go back it will happen again? I need your guys thoughts on this! Thanks!!!!! BTW...i lost 2 pounds from that workout!! And we didnt even get to finish! Tiffany

Tif~ Hey girl. I'm sure that it's blood work. I know that exact feeling. I fainted after giving blood years ago. I was sweaty and white as a sheet right before. Like you, everyone asked me if I was feeling okay and then...bam! Out like a light. Not to worry....your body will heal faster than your bruised ego. I think it's great that you are taking a pro-active approach to the stall. I've sure seen a lot of folks just give up after the weight stops coming off so easily. So I'm very proud od you. Keep it up girl! Malibu

Thanks guys. I think I needed that reassurance that it WAS from the bloodwork. Now ive been making sure i take ALL my vitamins. Ive been lax with my calciums, b12's and b1's since they were never low...but i always make sure i take my irons and daily multi vitamin. Have fun in Vegas!!

Don't freak! Fainting can occur from simple things. Hell, I've fainted when drawing blood. The last time I fainted, blood was drawn. Twelve minutes later I went down outside a liquor store (5 months after rny). One ***** walked by thinking I was a bad drunk. There I sat bleeding. It hasn't happened since. Keep the gym work up: just do it with some moderation. Dave

Sounds like the bloodwork, but I'm not a dr! I passed out once having dinner with my friend and her parents and it was so embarassing - My face hit the floor and I came to thinking, OK, let me get my ass out of the air and get off the floor - and put that phone down - don't you dare call 911. LOL I usually pass out WHILE they're drawing the blood (and I've never had a pint taken) so I would think its the labs.

Tiff- First of all, congrats on getting back on track and using your tool. It takes a lot of introspection and guts to realize you need to get back on track. It's great you realized it and are taking action. It sounds like the blood work to me. Some people faint just from sitting up after giving blood. Also makes sure you are drinking plenty of water. Love ya, andrea
