Still partying
Hey gang ...
Been way too long since I've peeked in and posted. But I did wanna come by and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULY BABIES!! Its hard to believe its been a year already. (My date was 7/5 -- so lets see ... the morning of surgery I was 346 .. BMI was 54 .. and today .. 368 days later I am weighing in at 167 with a BMI of 27 with a total of 179 pounds GONE. Unbelievable, still blows my mind!
Give yourselves a round of applause . You've worked hard, been thru many ups and downs, plenty of tears and frowns, but look at us all NOW.
Ive done everything that Ive wanted to do since WLS. Flew in an airplane - comfortably ... rode every rollercoaster that Disney and Seaworld could throw at me, rode horses in the Carribean Ocean while in Jamaica ... and watched my daughter smile and laugh when I attempted to rollerblade (long story).
Yes, the sacrifices have been many, but the rewards far outweigh the short satisfied feeling I would get after I ate that hot fudge sundae
So stand up tall and walk proud my fellow losers! Year two is dedicated to living the lives we've dreamt when given this second chance at life!
Love ya'll,

Hey Jerzy Girl! So glad to hear from you again! You have done amazing! It has been a year has it not? I love everything about this surgery and the life it had given me back. But now after reading your post, I want to ride a horse in Jamaica! That sounds so fun! Take care and give that sweet baby a hug from me!
