a little sad

This is the first fathers day for me since my Dad passed away last December. Usually I would send him a card, give him a call and then play an online cribbage tournament with him and my my brothers. I miss him a lot. I got a lot of digging to do today to occupy my hands but my thoughts are with you pops. I love you Dad.

Tim ~ I can sympathize with you. My dad's been gone since Nov 2002. He was my personal computer help desk (all self taught and knew more about computers at age 76 than I know at 38). My thoughts are with you during this difficult first Father's Day. Maria

When it comes to grief.......I am TERRIBLE at lending support. I have never lost a loved one, so I always feel like whatever I say is just trivial. With that being said.... I am so sorry sweetie. I remember when you lost him last year and it was a very sad time for you and your family. My beliefs are that he is still around you in spirit and that he is extremely proud of you and the many accomplishments of your life Tim. Death doesn't stop us from loving others and it doesn't stop them from loving us either. I bet that if you take a minute to try to feel his spirit around you...you indeed will. I wish I could give you a big hug right now. I know this is a sad time for you babe. Love you Timmy! C

Tim, Got here a little late, but just wanted to say that I'm sorry. There are always special days that are hard to get through when you've lost a loved one, and the first year is SO hard. Hang in there, and know that your dad knows he is loved and thought of everyday, and especially today! HUGS Kimberly

Thanks Kimberly, I know I got a couple more tough ones ahead on his birthday and the one year anniversary of his passing but my family is pretty close and I know we will be there for each other. Tim
