My update

Hello everyone. I had my one year check-up yesterday (yes I know it was a month early) I was dreading getting on their scale because it always seemed to weigh me heavier, but up I got on it and weighed in at 151. Boy was I thrilled. Then I was brought into the room and waited for my doc. to come in. He did and said, "WOW!! You look amazing!" He said he was very proud of me. Made me very happy. I also had him start my tummy tuck procedure. It takes about 2-3 months for it to go through, so that way if it is approved I will be able to set the date after my hubby gets back from Iraq. So he told me to make my belly look as pitiful as possible and he took the pics he needed to take. So now the waiting begins. He also took a picture of me with my clothes on because he wanted it to show the other people because he was so proud of my success. When he went over my bloodwork, everything was perfect except that my iron was a little low. I am not surprised about that though as I have always been a little anemic. So That is how my trip to the doctor's was yesterday. I am so proud of myself!! Nickie

Nickie- Congratulations! That is so great!!!! You are a star, and you should be proud of yourself!!!!!! Incidently, how did you make your tummy look pitiful?

Hard for me to be proud of myself, so felt good to be. As far as making it look pitiful, he said do not hold anything in and stick it out as much as I can. I did, and boy did it look nasty. We are hoping that they will approve it because it is pulling my lower back out and it hurts something awful. Also when I turn over in bed and when I am doing my crunches I get a burning pain in my abs. Nickie

Congrats Nickie! We are all so proud of you. Even a trained medical professional agrees that you look amazing, must be true! Do you think you might have a hernia? Best way to get insurance to pay for your TT. Good luck! Tim

Well if a trained professional says so....I guess I can accept that it is true. Not sure on the hernia...I think it is just muscle stuff. I am sure about how bad my back feels though if I do not keep my gut sucked in as far as it can go. Thank you so much Tim. You are great!! Nickie
