Was that a compliment?

Fridays are always SLOWWWWW on the board! You guys act like you've got lives to lead or sumpin! Okay......so I was outside with my son & I see my neighbor that I haven't seen in about a month. I decide to be friendly and pop on over for a friendly chat-em-up. Her 5 year old daughter says...... "You lost weight, huh?" "Why yes I have sweetie", I say giggling. "Did you have a baby?" She says!!! I laughed and said "No." ~THEN~ Her mother(who is about a size 4) says, "If I were to guess....I'd say you were a third of what you were." I blinked (blink....blink) and did the math in my head.........That would be over 500 lbs! What the hell!!! Did I look THAT big? I wasn't a light weight people, but I wasn't 500 lbs either. I'm sure she just didn't choose her words wisely and that she was really paying me a compliment. Who am I to complain...........I am the queen of this! I have often said...."Now that I spend less time putting food in my mouth, I have more time to put my foot in it!" Have any of you received a back-handed compliment or comments of which the intent, you were unsure of? C

My life will be absolutely insane for the next 4-7 days (but better for it). I have some very important, very time consuming projects to tackle over the next week. I'm just giving you a head's up in case you wonder where I am. (Mo) Last time I was gone for more than 24 hours, Mo sent out a search and rescue team and started checking the paper for my obituary. Mo~Put the paper and the phone down....I'm fine!! I'll check in when I have time to sit for more than two minutes, but I'll have to be without your kind support for a few days as I climb out of this hole I have so emphatically dug myself into! Miss you guys already, C
