Goodbye

As we change after our WLS it sometimes becomes necessary to say goodbye to a few old friends. You used to make me feel better but now you cause more trouble than good and it is time to let go. I will not miss you at all. Goodbye to my blood pressure medicine! OK, I know that was misleading but it got your attention didn't it? I've been having dizzy spells when I stand up and I suspected my BP was getting too low. Now I appreciate a good head rush as much as the next stoner but when things start to go black and you have to grab the fence to keep from falling in the garage footings it's time to do something. So I saw my PCP today and had my BP checked. It was 102 over 60. Way too low. He had advised me to watch out and if it got under 110 he would change my meds. Well he decided after seeing me (and doing a double take) to get me off them completely. So now for the first time in 20 years I am on no scrips at all! I would jump up and down right now but I took my last pill this morning and I would probably get dizzy and bang my head. As for you guys I love you all and aint going nowhere. Tim

bad Tim! Don't freak us out like that! Congratulations on eliminating the meds! I still have a few, but am down a 4 pills total. What a great feeling! Cheers! Andrea
