I have the munchies!
I am running out of low/no calorie options that actually taste good!
What "freebies" do you snack on when you are trying to save your calories or closing in on your daily limit.
Here are mine:
pickles
coffee beans (YES! I DO!)
and my all time favorite........try to keep up here:
An Iced:
Venti
Caffe Americano
w/
sugar free vanilla syrup
1/2 inch of non-fat milk
an extra shot of espresso
4 packets of splenda!
GRAND TOTAL: 40-50 CALORIES!!!
I use to get the caramel macchiato's, but they were waaaay to high in calories!
Are you a Starbucks addict too?
Everytime I see those green letters, my heart goes pitter-patter!

I have been there 3 times in the last 24 hours! It cancels out to pickles! The pickles make me retain water, the espresso makes me pee like a race horse!

Been snacking on mixed nuts (appropriate for here) and beef jerky (very macho) myself. Not really freebies so I try to limit them. I don't count my calories anyway, guy thing.
Think I've only ever had Starbucks once, a friend got me a Cappacino(sp?) from there. It was pretty darn good I seem to remember.

Oh my gosh...I'm not alone?! Cool! The munchies have hit me so hard! I usually get naval oranges and cottage cheese, or vanilla carbfreedom yogurt. Sometimes I'll add a banana, but those go pretty fast in my house with 3 kids, so I'm lucky to get one!
I'm also hit a granola bar kick. Not really very "free", but still better than a butterfinger! (which I can also do -- I'll never tell how I know!)
I was recently informed that Slimfast has a bar that tastes like a butterfinger. I'll beleive it when I try it!
Another fav is trailmix --- the nuts and M&M's variety.
And I ADORE pickles.
Bought some coffee the other night. Thought I was craving it. Still haven't cracked that out yet.

Okay- I am stepping into the confessional-
I had a pre-surgery day yesterday-- I am so glad you posted this because I was TOTALLY out of control.
1/2 chocolate croissant ( i threw the other half away b/c I was mad at myself)
1 big chocolate chip cookie
3 bites of birthday cake.
I was so mad at myself, not for taking a bite, but for continuing to take bites all day long.
I need to stock munchie options in my office! Went on line and sent in an order of the following--
Soy crisps (if you are going to munch, at least it is lower calorie and protein).
South Beach peanut butter cookie--(100 calories 2 cookies-- and if it is NOT chocolate, I can limit it to 1--3 g. sugar; 2 g protein
Sugar free nip candies-- They are had candy so it takes a while to eat
Pickles - half sour from the pickle man on the lower east side.
Edy's no sugar added whole fruit bars 30 calories
I am chalking this up to a bad day and will NOT do this again.
if i even smell the "good stuff" i get the munchies! Im bad. i really dont have any good choices. Im such a carb addict its sickening. Ive been really mad at myself lately for eating badly too. Im always having a handful of chips here, doritos there. I would love to get some sugar free ice cream but i think the lactose in it makes me ill. I have found sugar free fudge pops which are DELICIOUS..and i think they are only like 15 calories each! Ive also been on a grape kick lately. I love em. I need to get a "good choice" snack list and stick to it. I think thats why i havent lost anything in over a month! Someone smack me...hard!
