Good Morning July peoples
Once again we celebrate our achivements and setbacks with WLS. C'mon everybody, how'd ya do this week?
Been busy as all get go this week. Not a lot of time for formal exercise but I did manage to work in some cardio and strength trainng and lost a pound.

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is doing well this morning and has a blessed week. With my children out of school, we stay pretty busy which is why I haven't been on very much. Anyway, I have lost 2 pounds this week.
Starting weight - 260

My, my, I guess gallstones must be MUCH heavier than I thought. Last week I lost 5 pounds, and this week I lost 5 pounds. I just don't get it! But hey, I'm not complaining! I am now below my original goal of 147. Wow.

A good week or two for weight loss. Finally dropped into the 1xx numbers. It was slow.
I haven't gotten much excercise (knee surgery on the 16th), but I'm getting around very well. The leg aches, but it is due to the remaining swelling in the knee. This week I can pick up full physical activity (per the surgeon). However, I've been blessed. I dislike jogging. The surgeon said I should not jog or run as an excercise (though soccer is okay) because of the jarring on the knees. Biking, dancing, elliptical trainer are fine. There isn't much to thank arthiritis for, but an excuse not to jog is fine with me.
How am I doing? Great. Lost another pound this week. In the last two weeks I've added one protein drink a day back into my diet, I think it is helping my body realize that it is okay to let go of its stores.
