I am following in Michelle G's footsteps.....BOOOO
I have been having gallbladder "attacks" all week and I am so miserable! It feels like someone is stabbing me under my right boob/rib and into my back it is terrible and then it will go away then it's back and worse after eating. I went to my Doctor yesterday and they set me up for an ultrasound Monday morning...sooo hopefully even though I HATE thinking of surgery again I will have it out the pain is just horrid One thing that is bugging me too is that my urine is darker then normal and I looked it up and it says gallbladder can cause that ...darn it
Hugs

Ugh..........Sorry bout all of that! Hope they find what they are looking for.
I don't blame you for dreading surgery again. YUK!
Geez people...........I think I'm getting sick by osmosis here! We could start our own hospital ward right here on the July board! What a bunch of sickos!
Hugs to you babe! I hope you get this solved quickly.

Hi Jess,
I got your email. I'm so sorry you're going through this too. It's really really awful! I'm not having an easy time with recuperating but it's 100 times better than an attack!!! My friend that came to visit me in the hospital said that once she recovered from her GB removal, she felt sooooooo much better and had tons of energy. I'm waiting for that eagerly!!
I hated the thought of having another surgery too, but think of the alternative... once you get it out you will be glad it's gone. Hope they gave you plenty of pain meds to get you through until you have it out! I think the pain is as bad as childbirth!!
Feel better!

Welcome home from the hospital, Michele! I've kind of missed some of your updates, but have been thinking of you these past few days.
I hope that you are FINE after this... that you have a wonderful pain free time of it from now on....
You deserve it!!
xoxo,
Lori
Oh, I also wanted to mention that I don't know of dark urine having anything to do with the gallbladder- but I do know that it is a sign of dehydration. Try to drink tons and tons of water- that will help with anything- especially if you're going to be having your GB taken out, you want to be nice and hydrated.
Take care!
