I'm coming out!

Hi, I am Michele's gallbladder, and I am coming out! hehehe I don't know why I'm laughing, I'm scared to death of another surgery but I'm more scared of this pain. The plan is to go to the ER today, at the hospital my RNY surgeon is affiliated with, so that the Medi-Cal will pick up the payment and I will get the best care. If all goes according to plan, they will admit me today, and do testing (ultrasound, Hida scan) and yank that GB out tomorrow. Let's HOPE that that is the problem..... otherwise I am pretty screwed because no one knows what else it could be. I have now progressed to vomiting after anything I eat (even after drinking water sometimes) and having indigestion/heartburn 24/7. Of course my sweet 5 year old does NOT understand why mommy is always sick and she has understandably been really difficult to deal with. I sure hope we get this figured out. Cross your fingers for me please?

Good luck to ya. I had mine took out about 2 years ago. I was at the hospital about 5 hours. I felt so good after that I drove myself home. Well to pizza hut!!! And to rent a dvd................That was before the GBS. It felt so good to eat and not hurt. God bless you and once again good luck. Amy

Michele I pray this takes care of your problem and all goes well. I know you have been just miserable lately. A bad gall bladder can manifest itself in alot of different ways. I had mine removed at the time of my WLS and I tell ya it was worth getting opened up just for that. Good luck and God Bless Tim

Nothing, absolutely nothing (except maybe having a kid, but that was 23 years ago so the memory has dimmed) has matched the excrutiating pain of a full fledged gallbladder attack. I pray all goes well for you today and the pain is gone for good. -Pam

Sweet Girl! I have lived with the nasty pain for a while.. Not quite as bad as yours (the nexium helps ).. But I understand that not to be belived searing pain that a bad GB can cause. Much love and prayers are sent your way baby..... many to you. peace Mo
