Well Gang, I had my plastic surgery pre-op visit yesterday. I asked her if she would be doing any lipo when she did my abdominoplasty. She said no, because I don't have any excess fat, just extra skin. Can you imagine being told you don't have excess fat? Those were the most wonderful words I ever heard. Made her repeat, just to hear it again. I tried doing the 5-day pounch challenge and lasted all of 16 hours. But as a result, I have started losing again and almost back to the onderfuls again. I am drinking lots of protein drinks to get prepared for my plastic surgery. My son is scheduled for his RNY two weeks after my TT. I intend to be there waiting for him. I may have my drains still, but I have promised him I will be there and I will. I'll just be sure to take all my pain meds and move real carefully. Monna

Good morning July babies!! Sorry I have been away again, but my wedding took over my life for awhile! Today I have been married for 1 week. Life is great. My new husband and I went to Disneyland for our honeymoon. I'm a Disney fanatic so that's what I wanted to do and there is nothing prettier than D-land at Christmas! I did well, no weight gain. I've just been staying put. I'll take that for now!!! How is everyone? Getting ready for Christmas? Take care!! Michelle

WOW!!!! I just got final word that I am scheduled for my hernia repair and extended abdominoplasty on Dec. 13!!!! I am so excited and so scared. Monna

I'm still here. I did have a bit of a time over Thanksgiving, but have lost the little I put on. Still trying to get off another 20 lbs. before I have my plastic surgery. It is a struggle--but not like it was pre-WLS. I still have Christmas cards to do and have only gotten one person a gift. Have to go shopping. I spend a lot of time hating my job. I think I will be a greeter at WalMart. I am so tired of the nurses and the aides at working doing half-a____ed jobs and having the attitude that they don't have to do things right because we are so short-staffed that they won't be fired. I just want people to do the jobs they have been hired for. Sorry to dampen the holiday spirit, but I know this is one place I can vent my frustrations and nobody gets bent out of shape. Monna
