Hi Lisa, Sounds like you're still on track - good for you! I"ve been so busy at work, so I'm just quickly popping in. Here's today's menu: B: Eggbeaters, V-8, and coffee with skim milk S: zucchini with lemon hummus L: leftover sirloin steak with grilled asparagus S: light Jarlesberg cheese with sliced almonds D: grilled chicken, tossed salad S: SF Jello with lite cool whip. Topic: Wow its late, but here's my post
Hi Everyone. I did everything I wanted to over the weekend, school shopping is done! Yesterday I had Special K with a nectarine for breakfast/lunch. Then, around 4 after shopping we went to Ruby Tuesdays. I ordered just the salad bar. My first round was all greens and protein, with lt. house dressing. My second round was a sm. scoup of two pasta salads, some grapes, more chopped ham. I couldnt finish. At night I had an Atkins bar. Here's how today went: B: Atkins bar...was running late L: Lean Cuisine flatbread; left a few bites S: Sm. Wendy's chili w/cheese over a side salad; left a few bites Another Atkins bar; water through the day Here is tomorrow's plan: B: Quaker weight control Maple Br. Sugar oatmeal w/1/2 c. milk, s+l L: Either LC or Healthy Choice meal; all were bought w/ less than 4 g. of sugar and over 19 g. protein S: Boneless chicken breast cooked in salsa. Not sure what hubby is deciding for sides and vegs, but I know there are fresh tomatoes from the garden ready. I have to wor****il 730. Not sure if I'll do a snack or not How is everyone else looking???? Love, Lisa

Topic: Plan for Today - Sunday, 8/10
Well I made it through the graduation party OK. I did have some chicken that was breaded (a no-no on the SBD) and a couple of pretzels and a small piece of cake, but not the icing. Aside from those things, I stuck to plan. I weighed this morning and was 175.0, so I'm OK. I was proud of myself that food wasn't the focus for me yesterday. There were so many times that I would have plans to go to a party and totally obsess about the food and just eat constantly once there. That didn't happen yesterday and it's such a relief. Maybe I do have the ability to eat normally..... Here's today's plan: B: Eggbeaters with 1 slice turkey bacon, V-8, coffee with skim milk S: lite Jarlesberg cheese L: tossed salad with some chicken strips S: zucchini chips with hummus D: sirloin steak on the grill, grilled asparagus, broccoli S: No sugar added fudgesicle, jello with lite Cool whip Hope everyone's having a great weekend!! Hi Nancy and everyone; Well I made it through yard sales, but I think its because I kept getting in and out of the car instead of a constant walk. I had Patrick stop at Wendys and I had the sm. chili w/cheese for lunch. Mom ended up having steak, crock pot spaghetti (her own creation; one day she put the spaghetti and sauce in the crock pot to keep it warm and then threw a pkg of mozzarella on top...omg delicious!!!, rice a roni, shrimp, mac salad, and foccacia bread. I had a sm. piece of bread, 2 pieces of steak tip, and a scoop of the spaghetti...oh and about 2 tbs of mac salad....I LEFT MOST OF IT!!!! I couldnt beleive it!!! I was soooo full! I had none of the desserts either...just too full. So that is a real test of the pouch test success because even 3 weeks ago I would have been able to finish that no problem. Just now, I did have my snack, which is an Atkins Carmel choc. bar. 11 g pr, 1 gr sug. Delicious!! How is everyone else doing?? Nancy, how did the graduation go? Off to school clothes tomorrow and Ruby Tuesdays.... wonder what I'll choose! Hugs and Love Lisa

Hey Lisa - good food choices and it looks like you're eliminating snacking - I think it's really showing in your weight loss! I'm SO proud and happy for you!! I did well again yesterday, I'm feeling better too so glad about that. I was 174.8 this morning....woo hoo - getting close to my mini goal of 172 and within less than 10 lbs of my final goal of 165! I have my neice's graduation party today - there will be healthy choices that I can make, so I just have to behave myself. I may allow myself seconds, but will really try to stay away from the sugary stuff which is poison to me. Breakfast: 2 soft boiled eggs with a 1/2 slice of whole wheat bread, V-8 and coffee with skim Snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack: I guess whatever I choose at the party I'll let you know how I did either later tonight or tomorrow morning depending on what time I get home tonight. Last night I decided on a pkg of Keebler Wheat n Cheddar again. I ended up having a piece of what looked like regular lasagna with meatsauce, but then there were veggies also, and a toss salad a tbs. of the dressing they had, with a fruit cup. Today we are going to try to go to yard sales. Here is my plan: B: Special K w/ sliced nectarine, 3/4c 1% milk and 1 s+l L: Not sure S: going to my moms, and not sure of the menu....will post later! Lisa, you are doing so great and staying so strong!! to you!!! Doesn't it feel good to be in control??? Hey, I hope the foot gets better soon!!! I've been doing well diet-wise. I was 175.0 this morning!! That's the lowest I've been in a couple of years I think. My goal is 165, but my mini-goal is 172. My abdomen has been bothering me the past couple of days. I feel like I'm going to explode and I get pains in my abdomen especially after I eat . I'm fine when I get up, then I eat my eggbeaters and it feels like my abdomen starts to fill up with gas and it rumbles. I took a Gas-X pill today and hope that will at least ease it a bit. It gets very painful and then I walk around and it's a bit better. Sometimes it hurts so much it takes my breath away. I'm hoping it will go away soon or I'll have to go to the docs. I don't have much of an appetite when it's hurting like that. Later on in the day it seems to go away, so I don't know what's going on. Last night I ate a couple of pieces of chicken breast - it was a little dry and it ended up my pouch not liking that and I got the foamies and threw up a couple of times. That hasn't happened in awhile either! Anyway, here's today's plan: B: Eggbeaters with lf cheese, V-8, coffee with skim milk S: squash slices with lite Laughing Cow cheese wedge L: my famous lettuce wraps S: cheese stick D: taking my dad to a Jewish deli for his birthday. I'll probably split a tongue sandwich, (yes, that's right, I said tongue!) with my son - I'll just eat the meat. S: SF jello with some lite Cool Whip Tomorrow is a big party for my niece's graduation. I'll try and make good choices - I don't want to undo all the good I've done!! Hugs, Nancy

Well, its 2AM and my foot looks better today. You can find yesterday's post in my reply to Nancy. I hope everyone is doing well! Here is what I plan for today. For my snack last night I had a package of Keebler wheat n cheddar crackers. Today goes something like this: B: 1c. Special K w/ 1/2 c. 1% milk, cut up nectarine, 1 s+l L: Again being delivered; make the best choice I can. I easily could have brought lunch but I wanted to handle the challenge because I know I cant always compensate. S: Just took out some Sweet Italian Sausauge for some sort of pasta and jar sauce combination. Will have 1 sausage and 1c. pasta w/ a bit of grated cheese. Pasta is my FAVORITE. This too will be a challenge. If my foot continues to get better I will try to go Yard Saleing tomorrow. I need to up my stack of books! That always gets me moving a lot. Sunday is school clothes shopping. Again, hoping my foot cooperates. I cant beleive the difference in how lighter blue it got from going to bed at 10 last night til waking up now. Hi Nancy and everyone! I came back from the Dr. and hospital a little bit ago. The Dr. said it is very likely I cracked a bone.. . I went to work today because I am in training for the new computer system we are getting. At least Im sitting! Here is what I ate today: B: 1 pkt. Quaker Weight Control B.Bread w 3/4 c. milk & 1 s+l L: some sort of chicken from a wrap, but not the wrap part, and a tablespoon of pasta salad with cukes. Lunch is being delivered today and tomorrow.... I totally skipped the brownies and D. Coke!! S: small Wendy's chili w/cheese Today's weight: 290.6 Hugs and Love...Lisa

Hi everyone! Well it looks like everyone is getting on board and making changes towards getting healthy!!! We can do this together!!!! Sometimes it's hard to stay strong, but the result is so empowering!! I did well yesterday and was down to 176.6 this morning - WooHoo!!! Here's the plan for today: B: Eggbeaters with LF cheddar cheese, 6 oz low sodium V-8, coffee with skim milk S: yellow squash chips with lite Laughing Cow cheese L: My yummy lettuce wraps S: lite Jarlesberg cheese with almond slices D: big tossed salad with cucumber, red roasted pepper, black olives, tomato, grilled chicken. S: low fat ricotta cheese with vanilla extract and Splenda I walked the dogs for about 40 minutes this morning and will walk them again after work. I'm still working on drinking more water.....
